Golf for all

A popular northland course located in a very scenic setting with heavily wooded, rolling terrain. The golf course is a par 70, it measures 6,050 yards and brings into play three lakes and a creek making seven holes hazardous. Ten of the holes have some degree of “dogleg,” which puts a premium on golfer’s accuracy and skill. The golf course is surrounded by rolling prairies and native buffalo grass. The natural habitat of the golf course is home to a variety of wildlife.

Hodge Park Masters

Sunday, April 02

Fast Greens, Tough Course Set Up, a Masters Milk Shake, and oh Yeah, the Coveted Green Jacket! Play in the Masters, Sunday, April 2nd with tee times starting from 10 am to Noon. $80 entry fee includes greens fee and golf car, range warm-up, food and soft drinks, Masters Milkshake. $25 of your entry fee goes towards prizes. Should be a blast! Tee times will be saved from 10 am to 12 pm for Hodge Masters participants. This will be a stroke play event so only accomplished players are preferred. There will be two flights to pick from. You may play in flight one or flight two. If you shoot on average 85 or below we recommend playing in flight one. If you shoot 85 to 99 we recommend that you play in flight two. Flight two players should be able to easily break 100. If you shoot over 100 you will not qualify for this event. To help us put you in the right flight we will need your low, average, and high, (worst) scores over the last year for 18 - holes. Your tee time will be assigned 24 hours prior to the tournament. To help the pace of play the better players will tee off first. If a player is contending for the championship in flight one or two they will need to stick around or come back for a playoff to win. Pays first, second, and third in both flights. The Greens will be fast, the pins tucked, and the blue tees will be put back to stretch out the yardages. We will play the ball down, the natural areas as hazards, and play by the rules of golf. In accordance with rule 3:3, Doubt as to procedure if you are unsure of a rule we will have you play two balls and make a ruling when you get in, or when the Head Professional can get out to your group. Call the Golf Shop to Register (816) 781-4152
